Our favorite spots to eat around the area.

Cape Coral is known for its maze of canas, beautiful fishing opportunities, and theme parks. There are fun activities and attractions that make people want to flock here from all over the country either for a vacation or to live full-time.

Fishtale Grill

1229 SE 47th Terrace B, Cape Coral, FL 33904
Phone: 239-257-3167

The number-one restaurant on my list will come as no surprise to any Cape Coral locals or anyone that’s eaten here before. Fishtale Grill is a fantastic place to eat the next time you’re in town because it’s got a great food and fun atmosphere.

You can find Fishtale Grill off of Southeast 47th Terrace near the Cape Cabaret and Dixie Roadhouse. It’s a great place to grab dinner before enjoying a night out on the town.

Not only is Fishtale a great restaurant, but it’s also a fish market too. That means you can grab your favorite fish to take home with you.

Slates Restaurant

4820 Candia St, Cape Coral, FL 33904
Phone: 239-540-6800

Slates Restaurant is the next place I want to talk about and you’ll see why very quickly. This place is a Cajun restaurant like no other and it’ll make you feel like you accidentally got off the plain in New Orleans instead of Cape Coral.

I love this place because I absolutely love Cajun food. You can beat the fiery heat of Cajun seasoning.

I recommend the fresh oysters to start with. You can have them prepared several different ways.

Check out Slates Restaurant off of Canadia Street, just west of Winn-Dixie and Vision Ace Hardware.

Gusto Cucina Italiana

229 Del Prado Blvd N #15, Cape Coral, FL 33909
Phone: 239-458-5900

Next up, it’s time for some delicious Italina food. This restaurant is called Gusto Cucina Italiana and it’s really something to behold.

I love Italian food. I mean, who doesn’t? That’s why I tell everyone to head down to Gusto Cucina Italiana on Del Prado Boulevard anytime you want some homestyle Italian comfort food.

I highly recommend starting with a glass of wine, of course. As you sip on that and peruse the menu, you should consider trying the veal piccata or the eggplant parmigiana. Of course, anything you get from here will be delicious.

Ariani Ristorante Italiano

1529 SE 15th Terrace, Cape Coral, FL 33990
Phone: 239-772-8000
Visit Website

Next up, you’re going to want to head to the Del Prado Mall off of Southeast 15th Terrace, right where the T.J. Maxx is located and look for Ariani Ristorante Italiano. It’s the perfect spot for a delicious meal of Italian cuisine after a day of shopping.

I love Ariani Ristorante Italiano because they serve some of the classics that we all know and love, as well as savory steaks and fresh seafood.

When you come here to Ariani Ristorante Italiano, I highly recommend one of their schnitzels actually. If that’s not something that suits you, you should definitely try a pasta dish.

Point 57

3522 Del Prado Blvd S, Cape Coral, FL 33904
Phone: 239-471-7785
Visit Website

Next up is Point 57 and this place is one that you really don’t want to miss out on. This is an American restaurant located off of Del Prado Boulevard South, just north of the OYO Waterfront Hotel, so if you happen to be staying there, you must try this place.

I love Point 57 because it’s stylish and fun. The food is delicious and the cocktails are strong here at Point 57, so a good time is pretty much guaranteed.

When you come to Point 57, I highly recommend the cast iron ribeye, it never disappoints.

Ceno Grille

1715 Cape Coral Pkwy W, Cape Coral, FL 33914
Phone: 239-549-2366
Visit Website

This next place, Ceno Grille, is an Italian and Greek restaurant with a delightful mix of menu items to choose from. No matter what you’re in the mood for, you can probably find it here at Ceno Grille.

When you come to this fantastic establishment, I highly recommend trying the option to create a pasta of your own.

You choose your pasta, then the sauce, your protein, and then any other toppings you want to add.

Look for Ceno Grille off of Cape Coral Parkway, just west of Chiquita Boulevard. It’s in the sam strip mall as Leslie’s pool supplies.

Lobster Lady Seafood

1715 Cape Coral Pkwy W #2&3, Cape Coral, FL 33914
Phone: 239-471-0136
Visit Website

Right next door to the last restaurant I mentioned is another amazing place to eat called Lobster Lady Seafood.

Trust me, this Lobster Lady knows what she’s doing when it comes to fresh fish and shellfish here in the Cape.

This place is an awesome destination for anyone that loves lobster, obviously, but the menu is loaded with other great options too. For seafood, you should try one of the whole live lobsters from the tank.

If you’re a land-based fan, then definitely grab one of their USDA Prime steaks like a filet mignon or a New York strip.

Rumrunners Restaurant

5848 Cape Harbour Dr, Cape Coral, FL 33914
Phone: 239-542-0200
Visit Website

Rumrunners Restaurant is an extremely popular establishment in Cape Coral, and it’s really easy to see why.

Putting aside their amazingly delicious cuisine for a secon, Rumrunners is in a terrifically convenient location off of Cape Harbour Drive next to the Safe Harbor marina, overlooking the Chiquita Lock.

Getting back to the delicacies, Rumrunners has it all, honestly. Drinks, seafood, steaks⸺you name it, they’ve got it. I always go for one of their martinis because they have so many tasty variations.

For food, definitely give the gulf coast seafood pasta or the classic vodka penne.

Nevermind Awesome Bar & Eatery

927 Cape Coral Pkwy E, Cape Coral, FL 33904
Phone: 239-994-3062
Visit Website

This next restaurant is called Nevermind Awesome Bar & Eatery. This place is located in the heart of Cape Coral off of Cape Coral Parkway and Southeast 10th Place, directly across the street from the Winn-Dixie grocery store.

When you come to Nevermind Awesome Bar & Eatery, I think you should definitely sit at the bar. It’s a spacious, wooden bar with big TVs and just overall a great location to hang out at and eat.

For food, I always recommend the pork butt grilled cheese or the triple bacon cheeseburger. These aren’t light plates, either, so make sure you come with an empty stomach.

Cork Soakers

837 SE 47th Terrace, Cape Coral, FL 33904
Phone: 239-542-6622
Visit Website

This next restaurant is one of my all-time favorite watering holes to visit and enjoy myself at when I’m down here in Cape Coral. Cork Soakers is a fun, lively hangout spot tht everyone should check out, especially on a Friday or Saturday night.

They have indoor and outdoor seating here at Cork Soakers, not to mention live music plays all the time. If you’re looking for food, drinks, and music all rolled into one, this is your spot.

I recommend checking out the daily specials before ordering anything because they change all the time and it’s always got some good stuff.

Nice Guys Pizza and Beer

1404 Cape Coral Pkwy E, Cape Coral, FL 33904
Phone: 239-549-7542
Visit Website

Ending on a high note, I wnat to introduce to you Nice Guys Pizza and Beer. This place is a fantastic pizzeria that you can find off of Cape Coral Parkway, just west of the Holiday Inn Express Cape Coral-Fort Myers Area.

This restaurant is perfect for grabbing a slice of pizza or a whole pie anytime you’re in the area, no to mention a few cold beers to go with it.

I recommend the Truffle Shuffle pizza. It comes with black truffle oil, garlic, cremini, red onion, provolone, parmesan, mozzarella, ground pepper, and crisp sage for unreal flavor.

Final Thoughts

As you can see, Cape Coral knows its way around the restaurant game. There’s no shortage of things to eat in this city, including pizza, italian food, seafood, and so much more.

Hopefully, this list should point you in all the right directions so that you can find the perfect restaurant for your next meal.
