Viva Napoli is tucked away in the quiet neighborhood of Tampa Bay called Virginia Park, and it’s one of the best coal-fired pizza places in Tampa Bay, with very friendly service.

Pizzaisimo is a brand spanking new pizzeria here in the Tampa Bay area that is taking the town by storm.

You can actually find Pizzaisimo in Brandon, Florida, just a short drive outside of Tampa, yet still technically apart of the Tampa-Bradenton-Clearwater metropolitan area.

I like to keep things simple when I visit Pizzaisimo and go for the classic cheese pizza.

I mean, have you ever seen a more beautiful sight?

Just south of the scenic Robles Park Center is Lee’s Grocery, one of the most interesting and different pizza places in the Tampa Bay area.

Lee’s toes the line between a pub and a pizza joint, and we absolutely love it  

As their name implies, Lee’s used to be a grocery store that was originally built in 1884, but was converted to a chill pizza place with craft beer, great food, and friendly service, however, the name stuck as part of Tampa’s historic past.

  1. I know it’s new, so you might not know of it yet, but Pizzaissimo has the best New York style pizza. Top 3 in the state of Florida and definitely best in the Tampa Bay area. No slices, no wings, no gimmicks, just the best cheese pie you’ll find. Toppings are all top shelf too.
