A city in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Asheville is a premier arts scene in North Carolina. Additionally, the historic architecture, like the Basilica dome of Saint Lawrence, captivates locals and tourists alike.
The city is also famous for the Biltmore Estate, which houses the artwork of master artists such as Renoir.
Once you’ve finished strolling through the art district downtown, viewing the galleries and museums, you’ll be ready to grab a bite to eat.
That’s where we come in; we’ve taken the liberty of assembling some of the best pizza spots in Asheville, that also happen to have great beer too.
What makes a pizza good? I always think of having the perfect crispy crust, flavorful sauce, and melty cheese with a variety of toppings. There should be an option of both creative and classic pies as well.

On a brief visit to the city, I tried their classic southern pizza, and it was immensely flavorful, especially the Mighty Meaty Pizza.
It had Italian sausage, pepperoni, honey ham, ground beef, and applewood-smoked bacon. The Holy Shiitake Pie is also amazing with a great depth of flavors. I recommend it!

Asheville Pizza & Brewing Co. is a small brewery that has pub food, beer, amazing pizza, a game room, and an in-house movie theater!
There are multiple locations throughout the city, but the North Asheville spot shows new movies the first day they get released at the best prices in town.
Getting back to the pizza, all the veggies are locally-sourced, and they only use the best ingredients.
All pies are made to order, so they’re always hot and fresh. The Moon Pie has a parmesan crust with an olive oil base, feta, portobello mushrooms, spinach, and artichoke hearts, all of which melds together wonderfully. Stop by!

Fahrenheit Pizza & Brewhouse is near Biltmore Park and Lake Julian. They offer creative and classic pizzas with a variety of self-serve beers in a fun and easygoing space.
The interior is industrial, modern, and clean. It’s unassuming on the outside, but don’t let that deter you from stopping by!
The staff is inviting and they’re always willing to make suggestions. They have the most crispy Smoked Wings with your choice of sauce, and you might want to go gourmet, but keep it simple with the Classic Pepperoni Pizza.
The sauce is slightly sweet with a little acidity. It works well with the richness of the cheese and the thick slices of pepperoni. Reviews say that the tangy BBQ Chicken pizza is also incredible.
