We love El Camino because their taco selection is absolutely huge, offering delicacies like carnitas, barbacoa, carne asada, and many more, so you’re bound to find something to satisfy your craving.

Casa Frida Mexican Cuisine is the perfect place to go when you’re feeling particularly thirsty, thanks to their massive selection of assorted tequilas and mezcals along with hand-crafted cocktails, including 10 different margaritas.

La Bamba Mexican & Spanish Restaurant is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Fort Lauderdale and they’re located off of Cordova Road at The Harbor Shops shopping center in the Harbordale neighborhood. We absolutely love their sizzling fajitas here at La Bamba because they have several different choices of protein like shrimp, chicken, and steak, but if you can’t decide, you can just get all 3 meats in one fajita!

You can find Lona Cocina conveniently located right on the gorgeous Fort Lauderdale Beach off of North Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard, inside The Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort. This is one of Fort Lauderdale’s best Mexican restaurants, in our opinion, thanks to their beachside location and their delectable Mexican food. We particularly love their daily specials like 50% off wine on Mondays or their Sunday bottomless brunch from 11:30am-4:00pm.

Right off of East Las Olas Boulevard in the Beverly Heights neighborhood is another one of the best Mexican restaurants in Fort Lauderdale called Rocco’s Tacos and Tequila Bar, and we really have to commend them on their awesome choice of name. Our absolute favorite things to order here at Rocco’s Tacos are their molcajetes that come with either steak, seafood, or the surf n’ turf which is our personal favorite, of course.

If you’re looking for one of the best Mexican restaurants in Fort Lauderdale that also happens to be inside of a 5-star hotel, then look no further than El Vez at The W Fort Lauderdale hotel. We strongly recommend trying all of their various ceviche flavors that El Vez offers, including hamachi aguachile verde, tuna tostadas, and shrimp campechano.

Next up is Quvo Tacos & Craft Beer located off of North Federal Highway, right next to the Coral Ridge Country Club golf course in the Coral Heights neighborhood, and they are one of the best Mexican restaurants in Fort Lauderdale. Whenever we have the pleasure of visiting Quvo Tacos & Craft Beer, we always go right for their burrito gigante because, as its name implies, it is absolutely gargantuan and perfect for when we’re feeling extra hungry.

This next place, Lokos Takos Taqueria, is located off of Commercial Boulevard just outside of the Landings neighborhood and they are one of the best Mexican restaurants in Fort Lauderdale. We love Lokos Takos because they have so many varieties of tacos that you can order, including some that you might not find elsewhere like octopus, lobster, and even a quinoa tofu for the veggie-lovers out there.

Bar Rita

You’re going to want to head towards the Poinciana Park neighborhood for this next place called Bar Rita because they are one of Fort Lauderdale’s best Mexican restaurants, by far, and one of our favorite places to eat overall. We always order the enchiladas anytime we visit Bar Rita, but they also have an amazingly delicious chipotle chicken taco salad that will knock your socks off.

Last, but not least, is Zona Fresca, one of the best Mexican restaurants in Fort Lauderdale, in our opinion, and you can find them off of North Federal Highway and Northeast 17th Street, just outside of the Bal Harbor neighborhood. We highly recommend ordering one of their delectable quesadillas here at Zona Fresca because of all the different proteins to add, but we also love their crispy taquitos, as well.
