First up is a place called Bombay Darbar, a beautifully decorated, upscale restaurant located off of East Las Olas Boulevard and Southeast 16th Avenue, just east of the gorgeous Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale.

They have some of the best Indian food in Fort Lauderdale here at Bombay Darbar. Our favorite thing to order is their tandoori chicken, but they have delicious vegetarian dishes as well that we love.

Up next is The Indian Harbor, a chic fine-dining restaurant that serves some of Fort Lauderdale’s best Indian cuisine, located off of Southeast 17th Street, right next to the Southport Shopping Center.

The menu here at The Indian Harbor is massive and it includes many options, boasting both a vegetarian and non-vegetarian entrée menu in addition to their huge tandoori selection.

Bombay Café Cuisine of India is one of the best places to eat Indian food when you’re up in the northern part of Fort Lauderdale.

Bombay Café has absolutely incredible lamb, seafood, and chicken specialties that we cannot get enough of. Our favorite things on their menu include their chicken curry, lamb vindaloo, and shrimp biryani.

Next up is MOKSHA Indian Brasserie, an upscale joint for some of the best Indian cuisine in Fort Lauderdale, located off of East Oakland Park Boulevard.

We always start with an order of their mouth-watering samosas here at MOKSHA, and then we move into one of their specialties dishes, Old Delhi Butter Chicken with a delicious mango lassi to drink.

5th Element Indian Grill is located off of Gateway Drive and Powerline Road, just south of the Isle Casino Pompano Park and the Palm Aire Country Club, and they are one of the best Indian restaurants in Fort Lauderdale.

Our favorite part about 5th Element Indian Grill are their amazing thali meals where everything is served all together on a massive platter⸺truly a fun and delicious dining experience.

You can find this next place, Ghiza, off of Powerline Road and West McNab Road and they have some of the best Indian food in Fort Lauderdale.

We highly recommend both their mutton biryani and their chicken biryani, but they also offer a variety of American wraps and sandwiches like a Philly cheesesteak and a cheeseburger, as well.

Deccan Spice is a modern and elegant Indian restaurant located off of the South Federal Highway in the Pompano Marketplace and they have some of the best Indian cuisine in Fort Lauderdale.

Our favorite aspect of Deccan Spice is their huge assortment of different types of naan to try, like butter naan, garlic naan, Afghani naan, and many more that are surely delicious.

Next up is Great Indian Grill, a small, comfy place with outdoor seating where you can find some of the best Indian food in the city.

They have the option to choose a thali-style meal, but they also have plenty of vegetarian dishes and biryani assortments. Our favorite are their tandoori-grilled kebabs that go great with one of their Indian beers.

Conveniently located off of North University Drive, Woodlands Indian Cuisine is one of our favorite places to go for some of the best Indian food in Fort Lauderdale.

Not only do they serve incredible, authentic Indian cuisine here at Woodlands, but they also have a delightful Chinese menu as well, offering meals like tofu Manchurian curry and vegetable fried rice, among others.

It’s a small counter-serve operation here at Arun’s Indian Kitchen, but the flavor is huge in every one of their dishes on their absolutely massive menu.
