I loved their Mexi-Cali, an upgraded margarita with tequila, lime, grapefruit, agave, grapefruit bitters, and soda water.

They also had some of the best p.e.i mussels I’ve sampled, with pancetta in a saffron tomato broth.

Toast is a romantic and charming wine bar in a perfectly preserved old bakery space with an intimate backyard patio in Cleveland’s Gordon Square Arts District.
Owner Jill Davis offers an extensive list of global wines and locally sourced, farm-to-table New American food.
The interior doubles as a local art gallery, displaying rotating exhibits from local artists.
Happy hour is from Wednesday to Friday from 4-7 pm with discounted wine, small plates, and charcuterie and cheese boards.
I loved their fried brussels sprouts with sambal aioli, soy caramel drizzle, and toasted sesame and chives for garnish.

I was in a tropical mood, so I opted for a bottle of Red Stripe and a heaping plate of Pulled Jamaican Jerk Chicken Nachos with house-made tortilla chips topped with cheddar, jerk chicken, lettuce, pineapple salsa, and herb crème Fraiche.

Located in a giant complex on the banks of the Cuyahoga River next door to Settlers Landing Park, Collision Bend Brewing Company is a brewery, taproom, and gastropub.
They brew artisanal beers and serve artisanal wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas in a space with three bars and an epic outdoor patio right on the river where locals can dock their boats.
Happy hour is from 3-6 pm on weekdays, offering five-dollar draft beers, wine, cosmos, and Manhattans, along with discounted snacks.
They also have great deals on pitchers for the table. Of course, any beer goes perfectly with their French Fries 420-style, topped with beer cheese, spicy mayo, jerk chicken, cilantro, cabbage, and fried onion crisps.
