Bulla Gastrobar is a hip bar that also serves up Spanish tapas. Bulla might be the best happy hour in Charlotte. The combination of fashionable decorations, excellent food, and great wine is hard to beat. You can find Bulla on the corner of Sharon Rd and Carnie Blvd in the Barclay Downs neighborhood. It is not far from park Road Park and Myers Park Country Club. I ordered the pintxo moruno and the patatas bravas. The bravas were some of the best I’ve had. The spicy sauce was not overwhelming, and the potatoes were cooked well. The pintxo moruno were also excellent. Don’t miss the wine specials, either.

I ordered the tuna tartare and the crab-stuffed mushrooms. The tuna tartare was excellent. It was fresh and had the perfect amount of seasoning. The crab-stuffed mushrooms were also delicious. They were stuffed with crab meat and had a creamy sauce on top.

I also enjoyed the house’s white wine.
