The first place on our list of best chicken wings in Tampa is Hattricks, a sports pub-style restaurant set inside of a beautiful, historic brick building off of South Franklin Street in Downtown Tampa.

The wings here are unbeatable with all the sauce flavors like lightning, IRA, BBQ, and garlic parmesan, but the best option is to give their shake and bake style a try for a real game day treat.

Next up, The Anchor Bar is one of the best places to get wings in Tampa and they’re located off of East Twigg Street and North Franklin Street in Downtown Tampa, just down the road from the gorgeous Tampa Riverwalk.

What we love most about The Anchor Bar is that they will let you choose, for an additional charge, either all flats or all drums if you happen to have a preference when it comes to which wing you want.

The sauces here are plentiful and delicious and they include some of our favorites like BBQ dry rub, sweet BBQ, teriyaki, chipotle BBQ and many more, so be sure to head down to The Anchor Bar and try them all.

Located on the corner of Henderson Road and Gunn Highway, just east of Westfield Citrus Park shopping center, Thomas P’s Sports Bar & Patio has some of Tampa Bay’s best chicken wings, in our opinion.

They are the masters of flavor varieties here at Thomas P’s where you can find an enormous selection of 17 different delicious flavors to enjoy on your perfectly fried, baked, or grilled wings.

Our favorite flavors are their blackened seasoning, garlic parmesan, and Carter which is the hottest, by far.

Wing King can be found off of Fletcher Avenue in North Tampa, serving up some of the best wings in Tampa Bay in an unpretentious, fast counter-serve food shack that’s perfect for grabbing some wings to take home and watch the game.

They have got too many flavors of wings here to even begin listing half of them, but trust us, each flavor is tastier than the last.

Some of our favorite flavors of wings here at Wing King are the nuclear, spicy honey barbecue, and hot honey mustard.

District Tavern can be found in the beautiful Channel District of Downtown Tampa where they serve some of Tampa Bay’s best wings in our absolute favorite part of town, just north of the incredibly fascinating Florida Aquarium.

You can order your wings either dry or sauced up here at District Tavern, but both styles are equally tasty. Our favorite sauces are the bourbon BBQ and their sweet Thai chili, both are unbelievably good.

Press Box has such a classic American pub feel to it that you’ll think you’ve walked onto the set of Cheers. Everything about the atmosphere is comfy and inviting, and you’ll feel right at home.

Our favorite thing about Press Box, besides the atmosphere, is their Jamaican jerk dry rub that you can order for your wings.

Every Monday night here at Maloney’s is wing night where they offer 25¢ wings from 8:00pm-11:00pm. You can’t beat that deal!

Located off of East 9th Avenue in the amazing and historic Ybor City, Tampa Bay Brewing Company has become one of our absolute favorite places to go in Tampa for beer and wings.

Our favorite thing to order is a flight of their craft beers to sample, and then we dive into an entire pound of wings with their incredible cider sauce.

Lee’s is located off of East Frances Avenue and North Central Avenue in northwest Tampa in a quaint and cozy setting.

They have phenomenal flavors of wings here like sweet Thai chili sauce, BBQ sauce, and our personal favorite, sriracha sauce.

They have mind-blowingly unique and tasty sauces to go on your wings here at Social House like mezcal BBQ, guava habanero, mojo, and even one they call their Social House secret sauce, so come try them all and try to guess what’s in their secret recipe.

Tate’s Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria

Located off of South West Shore Boulevard and West Cherokee Road, Tate’s Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria is one of the unlikely contenders to have some of the best chicken wings in Tampa, but, in our opinion, they absolutely do.

They call themselves an Italian restaurant, but really they have a bit of everything here like pasta, pizza, burgers, subs, but most importantly, wings.

Our favorite way to order Tate’s wings is with their scorching hot sauce to really give our taste buds a bit of a wake-up.

Zeko’s Mediterranean Grill is located in Seminole Heights off of East Hillsborough Avenue and North Nebraska Avenue, and it’s where you can find some of Tampa Bay’s best wings.

They have wings here at Zeko’s, but they also have something they like to call “zings” which are actually their delicious boneless chicken wings for those of us who prefer them without the bones.

The only thing better than Zeko’s boneless wings is an order of their boneless wings with a tall chocolate milkshake to go along with them.

Phone: 813-837-5636

Mackenzie’s Sports Tavern is located off of South West Shore Boulevard in South Tampa and they have some of the greatest wings in Tampa, if you ask us.

All of Mackenzie’s wings are jumbo, so they’re absolutely massive, and they have so many delicious sauces to choose from like mango habanero, garlic parmesan, spicy barbecue, and even something they call “dirty”.

Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza is located off of South Dale Mabry Highway in the heart of South Tampa, just west of the beautiful Palma Ceia Golf and Country Club, and they have some of the best chicken wings in Tampa.

They’re known for their delicious pizza here at Anthony’s, but we think their wings deserve some recognition as well.

The wings here are coal-fired in the same oven that their amazing pizzas are made and they come in three options: original with caramelized onions, buffalo, or seasoned with dry rub No. 2 which happens to be our favorite.
