You can choose which grind you want for your burger base and decide between beef, turkey, veggie options, or a plant-based impossible burger for your sandwich.
After choosing which burger base you want, you’ll be able to select your cheeses, toppings, sauces, and sides.
This burger joint has plenty of pre-made styles to browse as well. Whether you are looking for a ranch-smothered double-stacked burger or a Grindhouse Classic burger, there are plenty of options to explore.
I recommend the Cowboy Style burger, which comes with cheddar, applewood bacon, and onion rings smothered in sweet and tangy barbeque sauce. Yee-haw!

SluttyVegan ATL is the perfect location for vegans, vegetarians, or any burger lover who wants to explore new options in Atlanta.
Each meal from SluttyVegan ATL comes loaded with plenty of veggies, toppings, and a delicious sloppy mess of vegan meat.
Each burger uses Impossible burger patties and the menu features a variety of flavors and additions.
Toppings for these burgers can include vegan shrimp, jalapenos, vegan cheese, onions, and Slut Sauce, a house-made sauce that has a punch of sweet and tangy flavor.
I recommend the Heaux Boy. This burger is loaded with New Orleans Style battered vegan shrimp and classic burger toppings, giving you a full and delicious meal.
The Vortex Bar & Grill allows you to build your burger from classic hamburgers and cheeseburgers. Several house-made burger options are available, including some topped with fried eggs, bacon, peanut butter, fried plantains, and horseradish sauce.
However, you can build your burger by choosing specific toppings, cheese options, and the temperature of your burger patty.
You may substitute a standard beef patty for grilled chicken, fried chicken, veggie patties, or an Impossible burger patty.
Aside from choosing your favorites, I recommend the Freaky Tiki burger, which includes pineapple salsa, bacon, and pepper jack cheese. It’s a party in your mouth and on your plate!

Fred’s Meat & Bread features a veggie burger and a stunning burger stack with pickles. While Fred’s Meat & Bread does not have many burger options.
These two burgers are delicious and come smothered in cheese, mayonnaise, pickles, bacon, chickpeas, slaw, tomato, and avocado.
I recommend the Burger Stack option for people who want plenty of protein in their lunch!
Inside the Chevron, 5465 Chamblee Dunwoody Rd, Dunwoody, GA 30338
NFA Burger does not have a wide and varied selection of burgers on its menu, but they do have a delicious and perfectly-cooked classic burger.
This double-stacked sandwich contains two beef patties, pickles, American cheese, and plenty of sauce.
The Sassy Sauce is a house-made sauce that perfectly compliments the toasted bun the burger is served on.
You can add plenty of hot toppings like turkey chili, green chiles, bacon, onions, and jalapenos. I recommend the NFA Burger classic with turkey chili and bacon smothered in Sassy Sauce.

Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q brings classic Texan flavors to Atlanta, including smokehouse styles and sweet and tangy barbeque sauce.
This location focuses on creating delicious flavors with their smoked meats and meat alternatives. Here, you can get turkey, mushroom melts, and pulled pork, all seasoned to perfection.
The smoked spare ribs on toasted burger buns and melted cheese may be the best burger in Atlanta. It has a rich and developed flavor combination, and is my go-to when I want something a little different!
675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30308
H&F Burger knows how to do burgers like no one else in Atlanta! This location has four unique and stunning burger options including turkey, beef, pickles, American cheese, jalapenos, lettuce, and fresh avocado.
I recommend the Junior Cheeseburger, which includes pickles, red onions, and American cheese. Though its name may make it sound like small fry, this classic burger is perfectly seasoned and has plenty of options for toppings.
1675 Cumberland Pkwy SE Suite 309, Smyrna, GA 30080
Muss & Turner’s is more than a burger joint with plenty of wings, grilled veggies, and salads on its menu.
This location also contains plenty of entrees like pork chops, ribeye steaks, and pan-seared fish. However, Muss & Turner’s also offers classic burger options on their customizable menu.
If you want the ultimate burger from M&T’s, try The Burger, a grass-fed burger patty, roasted poblano peppers, and white cheddar.
The red onion, cilantro aioli, and toasted bun make this burger even more stunning and delicious.
292 Moreland Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30307
Wrecking Bar Brewpub has a stunning OG Burger that is served with cheddar cheese, onion, lettuce, and a house-made Wreck sauce.
This burger consists of all grass-fed beef that is locally sourced. Although this location only has one burger option, this burger is delicious and combines many seasonings and flavors to create a perfect and exciting combination of tastes.
Don’t let the simplicity fool you! If there was ever a perfect pub burger, in my opinion, this is it.
2011 Hosea L Williams Dr. NE, Atlanta, GA 30317
Evergreen Butcher + Baker offers plenty of custom and fresh cuts of meat that create plenty of pastries, meals, and burgers.
Because this menu is constantly changing, it may be hard to know beforehand which burgers are currently on the menu.
You can always call ahead, or just show up for a surprise. I suggest getting a classic or house-made burger from this location.
It is perfectly seasoned and has only the freshest ingredients!
33 Georgia Ave SE, Atlanta, GA 30312
Hero Doughnuts & Buns sells more than just doughnuts. This location has a Dad Burger, a Classic Burger, and their signature Hero Burger.
Each burger is different and has many veggies that work together to create perfect flavor combinations.
The classic burger has a mixture of pickles, beef patties, cheese, lettuce, and tomato. The Dad Burger is similar but subs American cheese for pepper jack and contains a sweet and tangy bourbon bacon jam.
I recommend the all-beef Hero Burger, which comes smothered in two slices of American cheese, onions, pickles, and cracked sauce.
This sauce perfectly complements the toasted, sesame seed bun that the beef patty sits on and will make even the biggest burger fan’s mouth water!
Houston’s has plenty of options on the menu to explore. Not only does this location have stunning burgers, but they also have plenty of trout, salmon, chicken, pork, and prime rib dishes.
All seasoned to perfection. Houston’s knows how to create unique and compelling flavors with classic recipes.
Houston’s offers two burger options: a cheeseburger and a house-made veggie burger. Unlike other restaurants in the area, Houston’s makes its cheeseburger with ground chuck steak and tops it with plenty of delicious melted cheddar cheese.
This is my favorite burger for a sophisticated meal!
Ted’s Montana Grill is the perfect family dinner location. This restaurant has plenty of salads, poultry dishes, seafood classics, and even dozens of meals made with bison meat.
Each burger from this location can be made using all-natural bison, Angus beef, grilled chicken breast, and comes with fresh-cut fries.

The Varsity is the ideal location to get some classic burgers without going too far out of your way. The Varsity has many locations scattered around Atlanta.
They all contain some of the best options for lovers of classic American flavors. Whether you are looking for a hamburger, a chili burger, or a classic cheeseburger.
The Varsity is always ahead of the game! There are dozens of options on the menu, but the best one may be the Double Chili Cheese Burger.
This burger contains a toasted bun, chili, and two beef patties on American cheese.

Jimmy Jam’s Kale Wraps & Burgers specializes in spellbinding and delicious vegan options.
This location offers a single and double vegan burger with plenty of veggies and toppings that can be included to enhance the vegan meat and create a truly scrumptious combination of flavors.
Jimmy Jam’s Kale Wraps & Burgers offers red cabbage, mixed greens, tomatoes, vegan mayonnaise, onions, and mushrooms as toppings.
Burgers may also be cooked in soy sauce and olive oil for a boosted and enhanced flavor. I recommend Jimmy Jam’s Double Vegan Burger.
It contains plenty of veggies and may be the best veggie burger I’ve eaten in Atlanta.
Atlanta is rife with some of the best restaurants in Georgia, and their burger joints are also top-tier. There are dozens of flavor profiles, combinations, and deliciously-cooked meats stacked between two warm buns from retailers all over the city.
