Russ & Daughters is a 106-year-old institution in the heart of NYC’s Lower East Side, specializing in delectable foods.

The tiny shop is the perfect place for breakfast between friends or loved ones because of the cozy size, warm lighting, and authentic deli feel. The breakfast spot also has locations in Brooklyn and on Orchard Street.

The breakfast joint is known for its fresh seafood and scrumptious bagels, so what’s better than pairing the two together and getting a savory bagel with smoked salmon dressed up with capers, onions, and tomatoes? Nothing. Every time I stop in, I can’t resist the same order because there’s honestly nothing better.

If you’re wandering around Union square and stumble upon a royal blue-faced building, you know you’ve hit Daily Provisions, a modern yet quaint spot for a delicious breakfast with friends.

Or, if you’re feeling romantic, the restaurant’s dim lighting and intimate size make it the perfect breakfast spot for two to curl up and enjoy baked goods and coffee.

The BYO toast is a great option that I usually opt for when I’m with one or two other people because it gives you a few choices of toasts and spreads to share.

But, when I’m in the mood for something a little more hearty, I have to get the classic bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich.

Barney Greengrass has been a new york city staple since 1908, and you won’t miss the giant red sign when you’re walking around the Upper Westside in the city.

This breakfast spot is a very relaxed, casual space that emanates a classic deli feel. You can come with friends or family to gossip and catch up or grab a bite to go on your way to other spots around, like Central Park.

When it comes to food, Barney Greengrass knows breakfast well, especially when it comes to adding smoked fish to a traditional breakfast meal.

I love the eggs with a side of Nova Scotia salmon, but the challah French toast is also to die for if you need to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Light and airy, Buvette is the perfect spot for a morning espresso or a long leisurely breakfast when you’re in the West Village neighborhood.

The shared dishes here are hearty enough to satisfy without being too heavy and perfect for group settings.

Whether you’re stopping by for a quick bite or settling in for an afternoon out, Buvette is the ideal place to relax and enjoy good company.

For a light breakfast, I usually get one of their fresh pastries, either the croissant or some madeleines, to complement a nice cup of coffee. But, if you want to enjoy something a little more savory, I suggest the traditional croque monsieur.

Besides its charming interior, Davelle offers some delicious breakfast dishes, including ham and egg or honey lemon toasts.

Personally, I love the berry and cream cheese toast and pair it with the signature Dark Angel cocktail, which is a combination of espresso and soju topped with milk foam and a dash of cinnamon.

Our dishes are inspired by ingredients and techniques from both cultures, making for a unique and delicious breakfast experience. The cafe is also fast-casual, so it’s perfect for grabbing a bite to eat when you’re on the go or popping in during a busy day.

The all-day Malaysian breakfast is such a unique experience that you have to indulge in when you stop into Kopitiam.

If you’ve never had the cuisine before, I recommend trying the Malaysian-style peanut sugar French toast or the Nasi Lemak, the national dish of Malaysia.

Shospin’s has many quirky and delicious breakfast items to choose from. I suggest the s’mores slutty stuffed pancakes if you have a sweet tooth or the Greenie if you want something lighter.

The Greenie is an egg stuffed avocado that’s topped with chorizo cilantro salsa that will have you salivating before it gets to your table.

While the restaurant has a pared-down breakfast menu, you can expect nothing short of excellence for each dish.

If you want some food suggestions, I suggest getting a couple of different love toast options to share if you go to Dimes with a few people. Or, I recommend matcha buttermilk pancakes for a delicious twist on a classic breakfast staple.

It’s never too early for dim sum, so if you’re looking for some of the best dim sum in town, you’ll definitely want to check out Tim Ho Wan.

If you’ve never had dim sum before, I suggest trying the steamed egg cake or the congee with pork and preserved egg for breakfast. However, anything on the menu at Tim Ho Wan is delicious and worth a try at some point.

When it comes to food at Johnny’s Luncheonette, you can’t go wrong with any of the egg sandwiches, including the fried salami and egg on a roll and potato and egg on a roll.

You’ll feel right at home here in Midtown East, just shy of the Chrysler building.

Instead of a traditional breakfast menu, Little Collins has a brekkie menu to pay tribute to its Australian roots. I highly recommend the chorizo-baked eggs or The Big Dill sandwich for breakfast.

If you feel a little more daring and want to try an Australian staple, you might want to consider The Convict, which is toast slathered in vegemite.
