Instead, there are dozens of places to explore, learn, and have a great time after a long day. Rooftop bars are only one kind of exciting adventure that awaits you in Scottsdale.
Rooftops were first used as places to gather and enjoy views, put up laundry, and enjoy the weather. However, rooftop bars have since changed and are now the perfect location to meet up with friends, enjoy drinks, and have a leisurely afternoon after work, exploring, or traveling.

Jade Bar is a sophisticated rooftop bar and restaurant with a contemporary and chic style – something I cannot argue with.
Not only is the menu sophisticated, but the rooftop bar holds a daily happy hour for five hours, beginning at five in the afternoon.
Additionally, there are classic and elegant hand-selected items on the rooftop menu. Whether you want a cocktail or locally sourced fruits, vegetables, and herbs, there is something to please your palette.
Jade Bar is on a small hill overlooking a mountain range in the distance, offering a stunning view of a desert landscape that will satisfy the inner adventurer within.

LON’s Last Drop bar has small appetizers, sandwiches, pizzas, and salads. This location also has local beer, wine, and hand-made cocktails.
Happy hour runs for three hours, beginning at three in the afternoon, and gives patrons access to some of the best drinks in the area.
This location feels sophisticated and modern with stunning architecture, design, and shrubbery. The rooftop bar offers a decadent view of the city and natural landscape. I recommend the House Margarita and some warm olives.

Outrider Rooftop Lounge has a more minimal and modern vibe than any of the other rooftop bars in Scottsdale.
This location offers a fantastic, long-distance view of the mountain ranges and the city and a cocktail and appetizer menu.
There is nothing like watching the sunset on this rooftop bar while sipping a Four Peaks draft beer and enjoying a meat and cheese board.
Balcony Bar

Balcony Bar is a fun and exciting location to lean back and relax. This location screams vibrance and fun.
Although it is not as high as other rooftop bars and lacks a comprehensive view of the mountain ranges beyond the city, it does offer delicious food, drinks, and the ability to have fun.
The hand-crafted house cocktails are delicious! I recommend an Old Fashioned and fish tacos.

This rooftop bar offers views of the whole city from multiple angles and a rich menu full of delicious flavors.
I recommend a Sunkissed Mimosa and Roku Pot Stickers.

There is nothing like a Four Peaks draught beer and an appetizer while viewing the city on this rooftop bar and enjoying musical rumbling below.

Orange Sky is the perfect location if you are looking for a rooftop bar that will make you feel like you’re eating in a grand Roman palace.
This rooftop bar has wide beige pillars, but it also offers a stunning view of the Scottsdale nightlife with the mountains in the background.
Orange Sky uses a comprehensive menu and a vibrant rooftop bar to elevate dining. I recommend a medium-rare porterhouse steak with a Berry Smashed house cocktail.

Alibi has a whimsical bar located on the roof and offers a unique view of the city, unlike the other rooftop bars in Scottsdale.
This restaurant also offers a rooftop pool and dozens of events that are perfect for travelers and locals alike. This location is ideal for an intimate and playful gathering of friends.
My favorite at Alibi was the Bikini Skinny Margarita with house fries. These fries have a special and unique flavor that is certain to entertain and impress.

The Grapevine Restaurant & Karaoke Bar has been in operation in Scottsdale, Arizona, since 1971 and has been voted the best karaoke bar in the area.
The happy hour menu includes a small discount on alcoholic beverages and appetizers and runs for two hours, beginning at four in the afternoon.
This location offers a stunning view of the city under twinkling LED lights and plenty of foliage for shade during the sunset. I recommend sipping on a draft beer and nibbling beer-battered onion rings while watching the sunset!
Final Thoughts
Scottsdale is rife with sprawling plains and locations to explore, but there is more to this city than just cacti and a dry climate.
Scottsdale, Arizona, is perfect to grab a rooftop drink with a group of friends and catch up with those you love while traveling.
Although there are plenty of fun activities to do, catching a drink at the many stunning rooftop bars is one of my favorite things to do in Scottsdale.
